Design notes

  1. Dropdowns, minimal labels. Vendor and plan are native <select>. Labels trimmed to plain nouns — the control makes the question self-evident.
  2. Rate entry simplified. Label "What you pay them today" + a two-word grey reason ("not published" / "negotiated"). No amber warning panel — this is a normal path, not an error state.
  3. Right panel is never blank. Current spend and recommended plan render live from the user's own inputs.
  4. Only the savings figure is locked. A real, fully-rendered savings card sits behind a blur until Calculate is hit.
  5. Calculate gate. One HubSpot submission per click, fired before the reveal.
  6. Privacy line. One line, one link.
  7. Math shown after calculating. The breakdown appears with the result.
  8. Single CTA, disabled until a calculation exists.
  9. Submodule selection. Envoy and FacilityOS both sell a core product plus separately-priced modules (Envoy: Deliveries, Emergency Notifications; FacilityOS: EmergencyOS, ContractorOS, LogisticsOS, SecurityOS). Each is its own checkbox, some with their own tier picker, and modules that are bundled free into the core plan show an "Included" badge instead of a price so nobody double-counts them.
  10. Purple reserved for the one real action. Across the tool, purple now appears only on the eyebrow tag and the "Calculate" button. Everything else — sliders, selects, pills, badges — uses ink/neutral tones so the CTA isn't competing with itself.
  11. Visitors per day is a required new input on the paper path. The whole paper calculation rests on visit volume — inferring it from headcount was a guess. The slider appears only when "None — paper or manual sign-in" is selected.
  12. Assumptions are visible and editable. Five fields: front-desk minutes, host minutes, two fully-loaded hourly rates, working days. Defaults cite BLS medians with a 1.4× loading. A prospect who disagrees can dial in their own numbers rather than dismissing the tool — and if they edit, we capture that they did.
  13. It's a cost, not a saving. The left card reads "What paper sign-in costs you today," not "your spend." These prospects pay nothing for software now, so framing it as savings invites the obvious objection. We show the labor cost, subtract Visitly, and show the net.
  14. Hours lead, dollars follow. The headline is hours reclaimed — their own visit volume times a stated time saving, hard to argue with. The dollar figure is the supporting line, since it depends on our wage assumption.
  15. The unpriced list stays unpriced. Audit trails, screening, mustering, retention — real value, no credible dollar figure, so we don't invent one.
  16. Low-volume guard. Below roughly 3 visitors per site per day, the labor saving doesn't cover Visitly's cost. Rather than showing a negative, the card switches to a compliance-and-risk framing — the honest sell at that size.
