1. Is single sign-on (SSO) included, or is it a paid upgrade?
It is included. SAML 2.0 single sign-on with MFA comes as standard, with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, OneLogin, Google Workspace, PingOne or any SAML or OIDC identity provider. Larger deployments can add multiple identity providers, directory sync, SCIM 2.0 provisioning and on-premises Active Directory through ADFS.
2. What is a visitor management system?
A visitor management system registers, screens and records everyone who enters your locations. With Visitly, visitors check in at a kiosk or by QR code in under 15 seconds, are screened against your watchlist before the badge prints, and every visit lands in an immutable audit log.
3. Can we brand visitor badges ourselves, or does it need a design team?
You can brand it yourselves. Add your logo, backgrounds and colors and choose which visitor details the badge shows. No design team is needed. An Advanced Badge Designer is available for more control, and visitors can also carry a digital badge in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
4. How does government ID scanning work at check-in?
The visitor presents a government photo ID at the kiosk during check-in. Visitly offers photo ID screening, and Smart ID verification that checks the ID for liveness, forgery and expiry. An administrator sets what happens when an ID comes back valid, invalid, unrecognized or skipped, and the result stays in the visit's audit record.
5. What does a pre-registered visitor receive before they arrive?
An invitation email with a QR code to scan on arrival. Hosts can invite one visitor or up to 200 at once, and the invitation can carry your branding, parking and Wi-Fi details. Visitors can sign the NDA and other documents before they arrive, so there is less to do at the kiosk.
6. Can we stream visitor data into our own SIEM instead of relying on your dashboard?
Yes. Visitly streams visitor and security events to your SIEM, so your security team monitors them in the systems it already uses. Every event is also written to Visitly's immutable audit log, and you set how long records are retained.
7. How is Visitly different from Envoy or FacilityOS (formerly iLobby) for procurement?
